| Ashfields Successful in tender for 2009 Test Match |
| Ashfields Polocrosse Club is proud to announce that we have been successful in our bid to host the two International Test Matches between South Africa and the United Kingdom. |
 This will be a spectacular event run over two weekends on the 11th & 12th & 18 & 19th of July 2009. These weekend promises to be a great family weekend with some of the best and most exciting Polocrosse in the world. The United Kingdom were the runners up in the 2007 World Cup hosted by Australia. The UK will be hosting the World Cup in 2011 and the test matches in July 2009 will form part of the UK teams preparation. Ashfields will continue to support the UKPA in the lead up to this massive event.
