| Ashfields asked to tender for 2009 test Match |
| Ashfields Polocrosse Club have been asked by the United Kingdom Polocrosse Association (UKPA) to bid for the 2009 test match between South Africa Vs England. |
 This follows on from the success of Ashfields Polocrosse Club hosting the Australia Vs United Kingdom test match in July of 2008. Next year the Test matches will be over two weekends from the 11th July 2009 and will involve two International teams from South Africa. We also intend to hold other events along side the test and make it like a Country fair. This promises to be a great family weekend with some of the best and most exciting Polocrosse in the world. The UK will be hosting the World Cup in 2011 and this will form part of their preparation. Ashfields will continue to support the UKPA in the lead up to this massive event.
